3 Exciting Things to do in New York this Valentine’s Day

One of the biggest days in February, not just in New York, but all over the world, is Valentine’s Day. The Big Apple, nonetheless, has no shortage of events and amenities perfect for celebrating this season of love. Single or not, our Westchester Car Service, knows just how you can celebrate Valentine’s Day in New York. Also, consider employing the services of our Westchester Limo Service for all your transportation needs in order to make your experience as luxurious and memorable as possible.

New York from the Empire State Building

The Empire State is arguably the most famous building in the world. But did you know that it also doubles up as one of the most romantic spots in the world? There is something magical about having an aerial view of the largest city on the planet with your significant other. The building has also served in numerous romantic movies and many New Yorkers propose to their sweetheart right here, making it a bona fide symbol of love. Enjoy a delicious meal at some of the nearby restaurants before wrapping up your Valentine’s Day at the building as you watch the lights down below. However, we suggest that you choose a restaurant far from Time’s Square because they tend to be overly crowded all through Valentine’s week.

Take a Romantic Stroll

Who said you have to spend a bunch of money to have a romantic and memorable time with your significant other? You can take a nice, romantic stroll with your significant other on Valentine’s Day in Central Park. Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape characteristic of this time of year. You could also head over to the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden or the New York Botanical Gardens. These two gardens offer indoor displays of numerous tropical plants. The New York Botanical Garden will be hosting an exhibition on medical botany that will go on until the 25th of February, so if your significant other is interested in science and medicine, they are sure to have a blast here. Grab your New York City Explorer Pass ahead of time for direct access to both the Brooklyn Museum & Botanic Garden and the New York Botanical Gardens.

My Fair Lady

The United Palace of Cultural Arts will screen the romantic musical ‘My Fair Lady’ in celebration of Valentine’s Day on the 11th of February from 4 pm to 8 pm. My Fair Lady was first screened in 1964 and is considered to be the most popular musical of all time. The pre-show will be hosted by Broadway’s Lead Correspondent, Richard Ridge, and will feature singer Mark William performing selected songs from the classic Lerner and Loewe Theatre. Tickets for adults are going for $10 in advance and $15 at the entrance while seniors over 65 and children below 12 will pay $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Treat your significant other to this romantic show and find inspiration to reignite your spark.
