3 Places to Dine During Labor Day Weekend in New York

Labor Day is right around the corner and every time it’s that time of the year, there is always a bitter-sweet ambiance in the air. There is the urge to celebrate and enjoy the long weekend, but there is also a quiet sadness that summer is coming to an end.

Well, no matter how you feel, we want to urge you to get out of your house and take part in the Labor Day Weekend activities because you will not get another chance for a whole year. Most of the events scheduled for the incoming weekend have a party theme but our Westchester limo service understands that not everyone wants to end their summer in a bang; some of us just want a smooth transition into the next season, and that’s okay.

We have therefore decided to come up with a list of amazing restaurants that will be open over the Labor Day Weekend. Grab a few friends or take the family out for a quiet tantalizing meal in any one of these excellent New York restaurants. Consider employing the services of our New York ground transportation service for all your transportation needs this weekend and avoid the hassle of having to navigate hectic NYC traffic on such an active weekend. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of your family/friends in the luxury of our vehicles as our trusted chauffeurs drive you safely and promptly, to and from, an eatery of your choice.

Katz’s Delicatessen

This traditional American restaurant is located in the Lower East Side along Houston Street. You can enjoy a meal of your choice from breakfast to dinner at this spacious hotel all through the Labor Day Weekend; however, their typical opening hours run from 8 am to 10 pm. We recommend that you try their scrumptious all-beef hotdog that surprisingly only goes for $3. You may also want to try their legendary brisket for the main course; it is accompanied by horseradish and rye along with thin sliced-pastrami. Accompany this with their delectable house lager or a soda.

Black Tap

Head over to Soho along Broome Street and try the Black Tap Hamburger Restaurant with the guys. This joint is typically open between 12 pm and 12 am, so you can leave home as late as you want. As a testament to the quality of food in this place, the kitchen is manned by Joe Isidori, a Michelin-Starred Chef who is famous for his hefty and delicious chorizo burgers. Further, the restaurant serves uniquely created milkshakes and craft beers that you can use to wash down your burger or sandwich.

Spicy Village

This Chinese restaurant is located along Forsyth Street and is typically open from 10 am to 11 pm. The joint itself is small and cozy, which makes it perfect for a quiet family night-out or a romantic dinner with a special someone. You are allowed to bring your own bottle of wine that you can enjoy with some of the most delicious noodles you will find in the city. We especially recommend the big tray of pork pancakes, chicken, and noodles. We guarantee that it will take you a minute before you can get off your chair. Happy feasting!
