Amazing New York Easter Events and Activities 2018

New York has no shortage of Easter events/activities. In case you are wondering what events you should engage in this Easter, wonder no more, our Westchester Car Service has got you covered.

Whatever you decide to do in celebration of this magical holiday, consider employing the services of our Westchester Limo Service for all your transportation needs. The Big Apple is a beautiful mess around the holidays, but it can also be a nightmare if you are trying to get from one part of the city to another. With our car service, however, this burden is lifted off your shoulders and you can truly relax and enjoy the company of your family/friends as you engage yourselves in various fun activities all across the city. Let’s have a look at some of the most exciting Easter activities you can consider this year.

The Amazing Queens County Farm Scavenger Hunt

This egg hunt has been sponsored by the Queens County Farm Museum and is scheduled for the 31st of March. The Queens County Museum takes egg hunting to another level; it goes beyond looking for Easter eggs in the bushes. Assemble your best team and go around the city in search of Easter eggs; this will involve using your brains to solve complex clues and to complete the egg hunt before other teams do. The winning team will receive a NYC gift package. However, if you are unable to assemble a team you will be assigned a team. There are two versions of the egg hunt; the grown-up version and the family-friendly version.

The Orchid Show in NYC

The 16th annual Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden is just in time for the onset of spring. The show is organized by Daniel Ost, a Belgian floral artist whose kaleidoscopic displays and sculptures celebrate the complexity and beauty of flowers. Bring your camera along and take envy-worthy snaps of the gorgeous plants at the gardens. You will also get to pick your favorite flower and carry it home with you. The Orchid show has been running from the 3rd of March and will end on the 22nd of April. Price per ticket is $28 on weekends and $23 on weekdays.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival in NYC

The Bonnet Festival will go down on the 31st of March, so make sure yours, with all its extra touches, is ready before then. The procession will begin on Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th Street from 10am. This annual event is part of a tradition that began in the 1800s when high-status ladies would dress up in their finest hats during Easter. Even if you do not actively take part in the Festival, the level of creativity you will witness at every turn is sure to keep you occupied and impressed, so come on down to Fifth Avenue and see what the parade is all about.
