The Bethpage course has a vintage design, having been established under the watchful eye of A.W. Tillinghast in 1936. As a testament of its quality, Bethpage was the very first publicly owned golf course to host the US Open back in 2002. Trump Golf Links, Ferry Point

This public golf course is tucked away in the Bronx and is open every day from 7am to 8pm. As the name suggests, the course was established by Donald Trump. The very first thing that makes this a spectacular golf course is its location; Ferry Point attracts golf enthusiast with its grassy marshlands, complimented by spectacular views of the Whitestone Bridge and Manhattan. Additionally, the course has a solid layout whose design was overseen by acclaimed golf course architect, Jack Nicklaus.

 

Quaker Ridge Golf Club

Quaker Ridge is located in Scarsdale, and if you love history, be prepared to have your mind blown by this courses rich history. Quaker Ridge started out as a 9-hole course in 1915 and it is rumored that the founding father, George Washington, once walked the grounds where the 10th hole now lies. Also, legendary composer George Gershwin is said to have been a member of the club during his lifetime. Today, the Quaker Ridge course, along with its unmatched history, boasts of 20 holes and a cult-following of history aficionados.
