Light Up Independence Day with any one of these New York Fireworks Displays

Do you want to enjoy a full Independence Day experience but don’t want to have to leave Westchester County? Well, you have come to the right place, our New York ground transportation service has just what you’re looking for. We have compiled a list of some of the most magnificent fireworks display events scheduled for this year’s Independence Day across Westchester County, so you don’t have to move too far from home to enjoy a magical holiday.

We also recommend employing the services of our Westchester Limo Service for all your transportation needs this Independence Day. With limited time off work/school and congested towns, traveling to an event venue can be a nightmare. Let us take this pressure off of you and handle all the navigation for you on this special day.

Independence Day Fair

Head over to Katonah for the 4th of July Independence Day Fair at the John Jay Homestead and enjoy an enthusiastic reading of the Declaration of Independence. You will also get to enjoy live music performances, food, arts and crafts, house tours, family-friendly-games, among other exciting activities.  Admission to the grounds is absolutely free for all but carry some extra cash because some activities attract a fee.

Spark the Sound

Spark the Sound has been scheduled to go down on the 4th of July in New Rochelle at Kensico Dam. Here, you will get to enjoy some of the most beautiful fireworks displays, which will be accentuated by the fact that the venue is right at the waterfront. The event has been sponsored by the affluent Grucci family along with the New Rochelle Township. The extravaganza will kick off at 9 pm, come rain or shine, and alternative viewing locations include the Five Islands Park and the Hudson Park.

Matthiessen Park Fireworks Show

Unfortunately, the Mathieson Fireworks show is only open to residents of the Irvington Township. However, if you are close by, you will still have a spectacular view of the colorful explosions. The show will begin at 9 pm on the 4th of July and we recommend that you park at the hill at Main Street school or the Metro-North parking lot for some of the best views. Note that barbecuing and open fires are strictly forbidden for safety reasons, so bring readymade snacks or purchase them from any one of the numerous local shops.

Lewisboro Fireworks

This event may not be scheduled for the 4th of July but it falls on a weekend; Saturday, 30th June, so you may still be able to make it. Head over to South Salem at 6 pm for the 20th annual Lewisboro Fireworks Show. Bring your lawn chairs along, a cooler with some drinks, and enjoy the show. There will be food vendors available if you feel famished but barbecues are strictly forbidden. The event takes place at the Onatru Farm Park on Elmwood Road and the parking fee is only $20 per vehicle.
